
“Simple but tasty,” Amazon has defined its own-brand wines that it has just launched in Germany. These drinks are presented under its new brand of wines and spirits; Compass Road and are currently available exclusively on Amazon Germany.
Customers visiting Amazon.de/compassroad get six different types of wine to choose from. Amazon customers in Germany can buy a Pinot Grigio, a Merlot, a Chardonnay, a Garnacha Rosada, a Dornfelder and a Riesling wine. The price per package of wine (with six bottles of 0.75 liters each) is 19.99 euros.
Amazon has already claimed that the wine offer will more expansion over time. Of course, this will only happen if the wine’s test becomes a success. For now, the introduction of the six wines is a big test to see if it’s German customers are interested in buying Amazon brand wines .
Will Amazon wine be a success?
For years, Amazon has been selling products under one of its many own brands. But majorly, it all depends on the type of product you sell with your brand name and customer won’t care much about which brand the product came from. When it comes wine, of course, it is a whole different story.
